Optical design data is also available, making it possible to design and implement complex optical systems. Additionally, a low F-number design that excels in light gathering and point focus performance is adopted. To eliminate spherical aberration and minimize higher-order aberrations, the design is optimized through computer modeling. The use of synthetic quartz glass results in an extremely low thermal expansion coefficient, allowing for use at high temperatures (effective for powerful halogen lamps and metal halide lamps as well).
